About

Wanjin Kim is a contemporary artist based in Seoul.

He condenses the countless emotional languages of human experience into the forms of hands.
His works capture the warmth, texture, and subtle pressure that pass through the fingertips, engraving within each artwork the traces of moments when emotions brush and linger.
His delicate touch goes beyond depiction, revealing quiet mysteries hidden in the everyday, at the meeting points between people, and between people and the world.

His early interest in the human figure naturally shifted toward the unique formal qualities of hands and feet, and he is now exploring ways to capture humanistic emotions in his paintings beyond the linguistic nature of gesture.
